Being in business over the past 6 years has taught me what I like, what I don’t like, what I want to shoot and the brand I want to represent me. If you follow my work, you know I refer to my style as “modern and fresh with a twist of sunshine, infused with vibrancy and sprinkled with that little thing we call LOVE”.

I specialize in families, children and expecting mothers. I am a very simple person that likes simple things. A clean look with pops of color was what I envisoned.

I began my branding journey in January with Tiffany at On the Spot Studio, whom I have had on my bookmark list for a few years. I had seen her artwork on several blogs and just always was attracted to her simple style. At the end of December, she was running a holiday special that popped up on my facebook wall late one night. I took it as a sign to finally push my brand to the next level and jump in. The design process was seamless and quick. I basically told her I wanted a handwritten logo with a custom font below. A few color changes, and it was complete. I was really stunned she ‘got’ me. Tiffany really takes in account YOUR style of photography, and what would compliment your work most.

My next stop was figuring out what the heck to do with my outdated blog. I love ProPhoto, so I knew I wanted to keep it, but I wanted to customize it a bit more. After about 10 hours of customizing, updating old posts and some light coding, I had to bring in the big guns to finish up the job. Rachel Nielson came to my side! She nailed the design and advanced coding and…..well pretty all the details to pimp it out.
